I am offering here my most recent endeavor, one of a kind handmade bracelets. To
me they are wearable sculptures, totemesque objects, lines drawn on a canvas,
connected to each other as if links in a chain. I am combining elements from my
paintings in every bracelet.
All the works are strung with leather, each unique, with beads of glass, copper, bronze, silver, steel, ceramic and bone. I use some of my favorite shapes and symbols in each piece I produce. The target, the spiral, skulls, abstract cartoon shapes are represented. The countless color combinations that are possible enhance the exploration, enabling each piece to be a separate unique piece of art on their own. The designs combine African, Aztecan & Dakotan combinations, gypsy almost, and many based on my European family history. There is a bit of humor in some of the designs. The bracelets are intended to be worn in multiple and I am offering them in 3 and 4 and 5 sets. Please contact me and I will send you photos of available work.
